Opening class 1). Greeting : hello, class. How are you doing today? Are you ready for the class? 2) Sing a song. 3) Ask Ss students to say their ambition . 2 . New lesson Step 1: lead in Talk about the questions in “THINK ABOUT IT” (1)Do you want to be an English teacher ?Why or why not? (2)Why does Li Ming want to be an English teacher ? Encourage them to express themselves. Gather the different answers. Step2 1) Show a picture of mine 2) Introduce this photo 3) Make a yearbook on the blackboard and write such sentences: I predict I will have a good future .I want to be a good people in the future . I hope to ----- 4) Let students make their own yearbook. Step3 presentation: students show their yearbook in the class. What’s your ambition? My ambition is __. Why do you want to be a __? (teacher、doctor、singer ) Step5:students read the text quickly. Step6:discussion Four students a group to dicuss the following question: (1) Why does LiMing want to be an English teacher?
