Teaching Steps:
ⅠTag Questions;
Ask the students: It’s a lovely day today, isn’t it ?
 Introduce Tag Questions; be+prep./adj.;v.+object, isn’t/ aren’t it/they ?/ don’t they ?
e.g. You are from Zigui, aren’t you ?
   ---He isn’t from Beijing,, is he /? ---Yes, he is ./No, he isn’t .
They work in a school, don’t they ?
He doesn’t go to school, does he ?
They don’t study Japanese, do they ?
Ⅱ.Comparisons with Adjectives 
1.as----as----, not as (so )---as
Ask two students who are the same tall to stand up and introduce :
Mr. Xiang is as tall as Mr. Wang .
John works as hard as Tom.
He doesn’t run as (so) fast as I.
She is not as (so) handsome as Tom.
2. Comparative and Superlative adjectives
Comparative :
He is thinner than I .
This bag is heavier than that one.
It’s easier than that one.
This question is more difficult than that one.
He is cleverer/more clever than his brother .
Superlative:
Winter is the coldest season of the year.
Tim is the most handsome in the class.
He is the tallest in the class.

1. Regular rules:
⑴.cold----colder----coldest     tall----taller----tallest
⑵ large----larger----largest     
⑶ easy---easier-----easiest     pretty----prettier-----prettiest
⑷ hot----hotter----hottest     thin----thinner-----thinnest
⑸ difficult ----more  difficult -----most difficult
2. Irregular rules
