Listening Text : David : What' s it like living in England , Terry ? Terry : Well , I' m having a great time , But I guess I sometimes have a little difficulty understanding what people are saying . Terry : Well , yes , It' s clear to me that English people don' t like touching somebody or being touched , Now in the States touch is important , Friends touch each other on the arm , for example . And we often put an arm round a friend when we say " Hello " or " Goodbye " . So I have to remember not to touch people when I' m in England. Terry : You drive on the left and we drive on the right . I almost got killed on the street , the other day . I looked to the left and started to cross, There was a car coming from my right ! Luckily it stopped and didn't hit me .
