英文来询问“时间”的方法

常言道：“识时务者为俊杰”。用英文来询问“时间”及表示“时间”也不是件简单的事儿。“时间”的表达要“因时而异”。你能准确地表达时间吗？请记住：识“时间”者为俊杰噢！
A）问时刻（点钟）
句型：1. What's the time, please? 2. What time is it, please? 3. Can you tell me the time, please? 4. Do you have the time, please?
操练：1. —What time is it? 几点了？—It's five o'clock. / Five. 五点整。
2. —What's the time, please? 请问几点了？—It's eleven fifty-two / eight to twelve. 十一点五十二分。
B）问星期
句型：1. What day is today? 2. What day is it today? 3. What day of the week is it?
操练：—What day is today? 今天星期几？—It's Wednesday. 今天星期三。
C）问日期
句型：1.What's the date today?
2.What date is it today?
操练：—What is the date today? / What date is it today?今天几号？
—It's July 9th. 今天是七月九号。
D）询问多长时间
句型：1. How long...? / 2. How soon...? / 3. How often...? / 4. How many times...?
“how often, how soon, how long”三组词语都可译为“多……”，how many times是对次数进行提问，意思是“多少次”。how often常用于询问某动作在单位时间内所发生的次数，是对频度时间状语进行提问的词语。与how often相似的短语how many times，后面常跟限定的时间，如：Ｈow many times a week / a day / a month / a year?, 并且要回答出次数。how soon（多久）主要用来询问某个动作在多久的将来发生，是对时间的多久提问的词语。它常用在将来时态中，并且用in短语（表示再过多长时间）回答。how long（多久），主要用来询问某个动作或状态所持续的时间。
操练：1. —How many times a week does he play basketball? 他一周要打多少次篮球。—He plays basketball three times a week. 他一周打三次篮球。
2. —How soon will he be back? 他多久能回来？—He will be back in a month. 他一个月后能回来。
3. —How long did it take you to clean the house? 你打扫房子用了多久？—It took me half an hour to clean the house. 我打扫这房子用了半小时。
4. —How often does he write to you? 他多久给你写封信？—He writes to me once a month. 他一个月给我写一次信。
