I. Asking for the way:
1. Could (Can) you tell me the way to the cinema / where the cinema is / how to get to the cinema? 请问去电影院的路怎么走？
2. Excuse me. / Sorry to trouble you, I'm trying to find the cinema. 劳驾/麻烦你，我想找电影院。
II. Giving the way:
Follow this road. / Come this way. / Step this way, please. 请这边走。
Keep straight on, then take the...turning on the left / right. 一直向前走，到……转弯处往左/右拐.
III. Not sure about the way:
Sorry. I'm new around here. / I'm a stranger here myself. 对不起，我对这儿不熟悉。
I'm sorry. I'm not sure. You'd better ask someone else. 对不起，我说不准，你最好问别人。
[口语训练]
A: Excuse me. Which is the way to Beijing Zoo?
B: Sorry, I don't know. Please ask the man over there, he may know.
A: Excuse me. Where is the Beijing Zoo, please?
C: Go down this street, turn left and walk on until you reach the traffic lights, then turn right and you'll see it in front of you.
A: Thank you very much.
