-It is London.
3. -Is the U.K. near China?
-No, it is far from China.
4. -What do the people of the U.K.speak?
-They speak English.
5. -Does the U.K. have a queen?
-Yes, it has a queen.
6. -What sport do the English like best?
-They like playing football best.
II. 背景知识拾零
英国人爱看电视。看电视(watching TV)是他们最喜爱的消遣方式：女性平均每周看电视超过27小时，男性每周超过24小时。此外，他们习惯使用信用卡（credit card）。运动(sport) 也是很受英国人欢迎的娱乐方式，有三分之二的成年人坚持运动。这其中散步(taking a walk)的人最多，有49%的男性和41%的女性喜欢散步。对于男性来说，除散步外，台球(billards)是最受欢迎的第二运动，参与者约为19%。健身(bodybuilding)则是在女性中第二受欢迎的运动，参与的人约占17%。
