1.[问]在"What do you already know about first aid? "这个句子里出现的aid有哪些用法？
[答]aid可表示"帮助"、"援助"，作名词用。
Books are great aids to us. 书籍对我们帮助很大。
with the aid of...表示"在......的帮助下"，相当于with the help of...。
With the aid of Mr Liu, I made great progress in speaking English. 在刘老师的帮助下，我在英语口语方面取得了很大进步。
aid还可以作动词用，表示"帮助"、"援助"、"支援"，相当于help。
We aid you to finish your work. 我们帮助你完成工作。
We aided the people in the flooded areas with money.我们用钱支援洪灾区的人民。
2.[问]在"Never use ladders on a wet floor."一句中，never的主要用法有哪些？
[答]never表示"决不"、"一点也不"，是副词，放在祈使句的句首，构成否定祈使句，语气较强。
Never go there. 千万别去那儿。
never用在陈述句的句首时，表示加强语气，句子用倒装语序，把情态动词、助动词或be放在主语前。
Never shall I forget it. 我将永远不忘此事。
3.[问]在"The most important thing to keep in mind when dealing with an emergency is to stay calm."这句话里，keep ... in mind表示什么意思？
[答]keep...in mind表示"记住......"、"把......放在心里"。如:
You must keep what the teacher said in mind. 你一定要记住老师的话。
