2007年高考湖北卷首次采用了新的题型考查形式——完成句子，去掉了原来的短文改错，分值定为15分，共10个小题，每题1.5分。2008年继续使用这一题型考查学生的语言综合运用能力，对于复习备考，特别是如何应对这一新题型的复习，谈几点看法。 一、明确高考的要求和方向。 高考总的命题指导原则是：“突出语篇，注重实际，强调运用”，命题的指导思想是“坚持稳定为主，着力内容创新”，“在考查学生的英语语言知识和语言技能的同时，侧重考查考生的综合语言运用能力，特别是运用英语获取信息，处理信息，分析问题和解决问题的能力。”考试说明的补充说明中对新题型的表述是：“每题在一句话中留有空白，要求考生根据括号内的汉语提示，用句末括号内的单词完成句子。本节测试的重点为英语语言知识的综合运用。”还列了两个例题：由汉语“起床”“一定下雨来着”提供的单词“get”“must”完成句子，答案为：got up , must have been raining. 这一新题型要求考生读懂句意，结合中文和提示的英语单词，用正确的语言完成整个句子，主要测试的是考生的基本语法知识和词汇知识的综合运用。 二、分析07年高考的现状 首先让我们来回顾一下07年的高考试题中完成句子部分，标准答案及评分标准： （2007湖北卷）完成句子 1、They sat together around the table , with （门关着）.(shut) 2、I haven’t the slightest idea （他在说什么）,(talk) 3、The fact （他失败了数次）makes him very upset .
