More and more “television time” or even “Internet time” is taking the place of “reading time”, which does more harm than good to us. Reading is more important to everyone, especially us students. Books help us have access to all the great knowledge of mankind. With a good book in our hand, we will not feel lonely, as we can make friends with the various characters in books. Through books , we can also learn about people and places from other parts of the world. It is my firm belief that reading is one of the greatest pleasures in life and books, rather than the television, will remain our friend.
