Middle school students from all over Guangzhou performed all kinds of programs, like English songs, English short plays and English stories. The purpose of this show is to encourage students to introduce Guangzhou and the 2010 Asian Games in English and to arouse students’ interest in English as well. I was very excited because I was the leading actor/actress in an English short play at the show.
