The result of the survey shows that the daily average amount of time the students of the school spend on different after-class activities. It is quite clear that homework takes up most of students’ spare time. As for those who like watching TV, they spend about 46 minutes in front of the TV set. Another two common after-class activities are listening to music and working on the computer, which take about 30 minutes each. However, very little time is spent on sports and even less on housework. According to Chart 2 / As is shown on Chart 2, only 10% of the time is spent on sports activities. In my opinion, the school should encourage students to do more exercise after class. In this way, they may be healthier and more energetic. On the other hand, if students have less homework to do, they can develop more interests and hobbies or help their parents do more housework.
