书面表达: Dear Editor, Following the rapid increase in the number of migrant workers, the problems with “left-behind children” have raised much concern. I have recently made a survey in a nearby school and found that about 40% of the students are left-behind children. Many problems do exist with the left-behind children. Some are unwilling to talk to others, so they are difficult to communicate with. More often, they are found in low spirits for lack of self-confidence. Without the guidance of their parents, they can’t form good habits in life and study, which results in their poor schoolwork. Worse still, some are addicted to computer games and even become problem students. Something must be done to improve the situation. The government should create the conditions for migrant workers having their children living by their side and give these children equal educational opportunities. And school teachers should care more about their spiritual needs and offer them more help.
Yours truly, Li Hua
