With the development of computer technology, the Internet has become more and more popular. However, people also argue about whether it is good or not to go on the Internet. The students’ opinions differ as follows.
On one hand, the Internet has its own advantages. It contains hundreds of thousands of websites where we’re able to gain varieties of information. Instead of spending much more time in the library, what we should do is to click the information we want. It does help save our precious time. Moreover, with the help of e–mail and ICQ, communication is becoming easier and more convenient.
On the other hard, the Internet has disadvantages as well. We’re sometimes confused by the harmful information. It’s quite difficult to keep it away. What’s worse, some students who lack self–control are so deeply absorbed in the computer games that they fail to study well. According to some medical studies, surfing the Internet too often is of no good to people’s health.
