Nowadays many middle school students carry mobile phones during school hours. A discussion was held in our school on whether middle school students should carry mobile phones. Students and teachers have different opinions.
Most of the students think it necessary for students to carry mobile phones because with mobile phones they can keep in touch with their parents and classmates more easily. Besides, it’s also a kind of fashion to own a mobile phone. But most teachers hold different views. They think middle school students are too young to control themselves. They may waste a lot of time playing games or sending messages. What’s worse, students might vie with each other.
(In my opinion, if there are some school rules for students using mobile phones during school hours, it’s not necessary to worry too much about this problem.)
